"Teachable Moments"

Ok, Moms. You know how we’re forever looking for those teachable moments?

If you’ll take a moment to read this week’s Heartlift article, you’ll see that the Missions tab contains updates from our recent trip to Honduras posted by our oldest son, Chris. Although some experiences may be hard to see and read about, I assure you, there will be opportunities for you to use the stories and pictures to teach your precious ones about sharing God’s love.

Our theme verse was John 3:16. I encourage you to use that verse as your memory work for your children this week, showing them the pictures and reading them the articles on the Mission tab. I have no doubt conversations will begin that will allow you to share your heart for being the hands and feet of Jesus. And it just might spark an interest in your family to seek out people in your own community that need His touch.
